We are looking for a dedicated Volunteer Operations Manager to help keep our store and warehouse running smoothly and efficiently with our 100% volunteer team. About the Role
As our Volunteer Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail and warehouse environment. You will work collaboratively with liaisons, schedulers, and leadership to ensure our services are delivered effectively to those who need them most.
This is a flex-hour, hybrid position requiring 12–15 hours per week across 3-4 days — ideal for someone seeking a meaningful part-time commitment with flexibility.
What You’ll Do:
A. Operations
- Manage and support retail and warehouse liaisons
- Monitor the effective use of retail and warehouse space and oversee stock and material movement
- Coordinate store and grounds services, including phones, security, and seasonal maintenance in consultation with Building and Grounds Coordinator
- Lead store and grounds projects in coordination with Council approval
- Oversee inventory and ordering of store supplies and food items in consultation with relevant team liaisons
- Collaborate with and support the Scheduler (Delivery and Pick-up)
B. Communication
- Keep the Vice President (Store) informed of pertinent store matters for Council reporting
- Liaise with external agencies regarding operational services
- Address issues and concerns raised by retail and warehouse liaisons
- Manage voucher-related communications with partner conferences
C. Administration
- Oversee Store related data required for annual reporting
- Monitor incoming invoices for timely payment processing
- Manage cash float, receipts, and deposits
- Review and uphold policies, develop procedures, and ensure consistent implementation

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools

- Confidence with administrative tasks including data entry and basic financial monitoring
